The next big super hero movie is just around the corner — The Wolverine! Hugh Jackman returns to his career-defining role as Logan this July, and to capitalize on this Hasbro’s Wolverine toy line has started to show up in stores and online. On this week’s Marvelicious Toys podcast Justin reviews one of these figures. Listen to find out if 3.75-inches of Wolverine is enough or if you should wait until the 6-inch Legends figures are released later this year.
And while Wolverine is in theaters, Marvel movies are also dominating home media. Sony has released new Blu Ray releases of Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man. There are no bonus features on the discs but they tout a clearer video mastered from a 4k video source. On this podcast Marjorie and Arnie share their view comparing the 4k Blu Ray and last year’s Blu Ray release of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man. Arnie also reviews Shout Factory’s new Blu Ray of Captain America — the 1990 version!
With a new segment dedicated to international toys based on Marvel Comics characters, new lines of vinyl collectibles, and oh so much more, it’s all in this Galactus-sized Marvelicious Toys podcast!
